Rottenman was founded on April 3, 2026. Hardcore metal with slam and death influences — intense, direct, no detours.

The members live in Austria, and Spain. Rehearsals happen digitally, songs are written across hundreds of kilometers — and yet it sounds like everyone's in the same room.

On June 27, 2026, Rottenman played its first live show at Ranch Rock Festival.

Origin of the Name

Rottenmann, Styria: legend has it a silver knight slayed a dragon here and became known as the "Red Man" — still present today as a statue on the town's roundabout. Iron, forge, blood: a quiet undertone, not a costume.
